5.1 RE-MASTERED COLLECTOR'S EDITIONSNick Cave & The Bad Seeds' first four albums are being re-issued in a series that will see the band's entire album catalogue digitally re-mastered and remixed in 5.1 surround sound. From Her To Eternity, The Firstborn Is Dead, Kicking Against The Pricks and Your Funeral, My Trial are due for release in March 2009.
Each deluxe double disc collector's edition will contain the re-mastered stereo album, the new surround mix, a specially commissioned short film made by UK artists Iain Forsyth and Jane Pollard, plus b-sides from the original singles and exclusive sleeve notes.

www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/radio/bbc_radio_twoTURNER PRIZE 2008Nick Cave will present this year's Turner Prize at the annual award ceremony at Tate Britain on Monday 1st December 2008 in a live broadcast on Channel 4 news at 19.45, following in the footsteps of Dennis Hopper, who presented the award in 2007.
The four artists short listed for the Turner Prize 2008 are Runa Islam, Mark Leckey, Goshka Macuga and Cathy Wilkes. An exhibition of their work runs at Tate Britain until 18th January 2009.

Nick Cave is currently working with Warren Ellis on the score for The Road - the film of a Cormac McCarthy novel directed by John Hillcoat. He is also working on his second novel 'The Death Of Bunny Munro', which is due out in September 2009 through Canongate.
