6.08 – Ragazze Scatenate (Let Me Hear Your Balalaikas Ringing Out )




Rory rimane piacevolmente sorpresa quando la sua vecchia fiamma Jess appare davanti alla residenza dei suoi nonni a le rivela straordinarie novità nella sua vita. Rory accetta di andare a cena con Jess, e quando Logan si aggiunge ai due inaspettatamente, ha inizio un aspro confronto, lasciando che , sia Rory che Logan ammettano le scelte che hanno fatto. Emily è sconcertata dall’ improvvisa evasività di Rory e cerca di esercitare un po’ di disciplina che usano solitamente i genitori coi figli. Nel frattempo Luke accetta si sponsorizzare una squadra femminile di calco locale e Lorelai direziona tutte le sue preoccupazioni riguardo Rory nelle attenzioni per il suo cane, Paul Anka.

RORY: Oh, color me curious. [She takes it.] A book. [She reads the cover.] The Subsect. Written by Jess Mariano. [She looks up at him, questioning.]
JESS: That's no misprint.
RORY: You wrote a book?
JESS: A short novel.
RORY: You wrote a book?
JESS: And through a fluke I got it to these guys that have a small press, and they read it, I don't know if they were high or something, but they decided to publish it!
RORY: You wrote a book.
JESS: There's no money in it. They only printed, like, five hundred of them. Believe me, I'm not quitting my day job.
RORY: But - you wrote it. You wrote a book. [She stands and flips through it.]
JESS: Yeah, I know, it's hard to believe.
RORY: You sat down and wrote a novel.
JESS: Author distributed, too. That's what I'm doing here. I'm going around, begging independent bookstores to put it in stock. Got it in a few.

RORY: Jess, wait.
JESS [turns to her]: We shouldn't have done this.
RORY: He's just in a bad way lately.
JESS: He's a jerk!
RORY: He was. In there, definitely. I'm so sorry.
JESS: I read that guy the second I saw him. I should have begged off.
RORY: Well, I didn't want you to!
JESS: He'd better not come out here.
RORY: Please, Jess. He had a lot to drink. He's tired from traveling. This isn't him. I swear.
JESS: What the hell is going on?
RORY: I told you, he's tired! And his family's bugging him right now -
JESS: I mean, with you! What's going on with you?
RORY [stunned]: What do you mean?
JESS: You know what I mean! I know you. I know you better than anyone! This isn't you.
RORY: I don't know.
JESS [passionately]: What are you doing? Living at your grandparents' place? Being in the DAR? No Yale - why did you drop out of Yale?
RORY: It's complicated!
JESS: It's not! It's not complicated!
RORY [defensive]: You don't know!
JESS: This isn't you! This! You going out with this jerk, with the Porsche! We made fun of guys like this!
RORY: You caught him on a bad night.
JESS: This isn't about him! Okay? Screw him! What's going on with you? This isn't you, Rory. You know it isn't. What's going on?
[Rory is starting to get it. He looks at her, questioning.]
RORY [sincerely]: I don't know. [She looks around, thinking. She wraps her coat tightly around her.] I don't know.
[They look at each other for a moment.]
JESS [emotionally]: Okay, uh. Maybe, maybe we'll catch up at a better time. [He reaches out and rubs her elbow. He turns to leave. He stops at the gate and turns back.] Happy birthday, by the way. Wasn't that a couple weeks ago? Your birthday?
[Rory, still shocked, nods slightly. Jess smiles sadly and leaves. Rory watches him, then sighs. She narrows her eyes and marches inside.]

[Early morning. Luke is asleep. He stretches his leg across the bed and when he doesn't find Lorelai he wakes up.]
LUKE: Lorelai?
[He gets up and walks through the house. He finds her in Rory's room, curled up in the chair. Paul Anka is asleep on the bed. Lorelai wakes up when Luke crouches down next to her. She looks as if she hasn't slept at all. Her eyes are red.]
LORELAI: Is he okay?
LUKE: Yeah, he looks the same.
LORELAI: Is he breathing?
LUKE: He's breathing.
LORELAI: Nice and steady?
LUKE: He's fast asleep.
LORELAI: Good.
LUKE: Yeah. You been here all night?
LORELAI: I kept thinking I heard him.
LUKE: Yeah, he does snore occasionally.
LORELAI: And then he was cold so I put his jersey on him.
LUKE: Yeah, I think he likes it.
LORELAI: Yeah. Every time I go back up to bed, you know, after checking on him, I just was convinced that he needed me and so I came back and finally I just ended up here.
LUKE: Well, it's as good a place as any.
LORELAI: Yeah. He doesn't want to eat anything. I had all these milk bones ready for him but he doesn't want anything. [She sniffs.]
LUKE: What's the baster for?
LORELAI: In case he's thirsty but he can't lift his head, so I can just shoot water in his mouth.
LUKE: Got it.
LORELAI [takes a deep breath}: He doesn't seem to want anything.
LUKE: He's going to be okay, He's strong.
LORELAI [shakes her head, crying]: He's so helpless. It must be so awful to be sick when you're a dog. 'Cause you can't run or play or watch TV or do anything to pass the time. Watching a lot of TV is the only good part of being sick.
LUKE: I know.
LORELAI: And the thing with the shoes, he was trying to tell me something.
LUKE: What?
LORELAI: He was trying to tell me to put my shoes on and take him to the vet because he felt something coming on and he was trying to ward it off and I didn't take him.
LUKE: I don't think that's why he was playing with your shoes.
LORELAI: I tried so hard. I have a list of things that he's afraid of on the fridge. And I try to do the right thing. I should not have socialized him at Kirk's doggy day care the other day. I should have taken him to the best doggy day care in the country, even if it was in Seattle. That's where I should have taken him.
LUKE: He's fine hanging with Kirk.
LORELAI: I did this wrong. I did this all wrong! How could I have let this happen? How did I not see it coming? How didn't I step in and do something? And why can't I fix these things?
LUKE [rubbing her neck]: Hey.
LORELAI: I'm a bad mother!
LUKE: You're not a bad mother. Did you sleep at all?
LORELAI [sniffs]: A little.
LUKE: You stay home this morning. [She nods.] I'll call Sookie and tell her you'll be late. [She nods again and sniffles, still in tears.] He's going to be okay.
LORELAI [shrugs]: I hope so.
LUKE [kissing her forehead]: Everything's going to be okay.

Bella anche qs……che piacere rivedere Jess….ma vado con ordine:

1 CHE VOCE HA JESS????Ma è sempre stata così oscena?????
2 DEVO SMETTERLA DI VEDERE LE PUNTATE IN LINGUA ORIGINALE....poi in italiano mi fanno schifo…..Dio come hanno rovinato alcune parti……con qs nn voglio dire che i doppiatori nn siano bravi……ma nn mi sn piaciute X NIENTE LE 3 PARTI CHE + AVEVO AMATO: discorso Rory Jess ( ) discorso Rory-Logan, discorso Rory-Emily…..nn chiedetemi quale mi è piaciuto di + xchè nn so risp!!!!

Lor e Luke mi fanno morire dal ridere, e Paul Anka mi piace sempre di +!!!!

Logan & co. ubriachi…..che gentaglia….e Rory cade sempre + in basso…….ma x fortuna arriva la luce….JESS…..chi l’avrebbe mai detto che sarebbe diventato un “bravo ragazzo”???



ah, mi sn dimenticata di scrivere che QUOTO glo_ria in ogni singola parola!!

Ci voleva un qualcosa di forte per scuotere Rory... e i Palladino (che ormai non ci stupiscono più) ce lo hanno regalato... Jess, che emotivamente credo sia la persona che più in questo momento riesca ad entrare dentro Rory...
Poi che bello vedere lo stile con cui lo ha detto... quel "non sei cosi"... in perfetto stile Danes... la scena mi ha ricordato esattamente quella Luke/Lorelai, il litigio pesantissimo quando Rory ebbe l'incidente con Jess... Luke, usò lo stesso tono, gli stessi gesti... che classe *_* (Palladino mi inchino..)
Avrei voluto un altra scenetta Jess/Luke... volevo vedere la reazione dello zio, quando Jess gli avrebbe consegnato il libro scritto da lui... e volevo che Jess avesse detto le stesse parole che ha detto a Rory anche allo zio.. perchè se le merita. Quell "se non fosse stato per te..."
Se non fosse stato per te Luke...
E allora eccolo, ripetergli mille volte che lei non è cosi... (quando ha detto che lui è quello che la conosce meglio l'ha sparata grossa però..) che quello che stà facendo ora era quello da cui scappava e che derideva tempo fà... e lei lo ha capito.. subito, si è visto dal dialogo con Logan immediatamente dopo, e da quello con Emily. Con Logan ha preso testa, come non succedeva da molto, da troppo... e con la nonna lo stesso... ha dato le risposte, nell ultima scena (ma anche nell intera puntata) che avrebbe dato la mamma... finalmente ho rivisto una Rory che rispecchia più la madre che la nonna.

Poi Lorelai.. strepitosa, quando dice che è un fallimento come madre... quando vede che anche Paul Anka non stà bene, come la figlia... Paul Anka che è li per sopperire all assenza della sua bambina.. e al quale non fà mancare nulla.. proprio come faceva con chi prima, condivideva lo stesso tetto, e che ora, non è più li.

Luke.. è L'UNICO che in ogni momento c'è sempre... una volta con una carezza, una volta con le parole giuste... una volta assecondando un suo comportamento... è esattamente quello che ci vuole per lei... fà sempre la cosa giusta. Questi due si completano, e lo vediamo in ogni nuova scena che ci viene proposta.

Che dire... da un paio di puntate è risalita dentro di me la speranza di vedere la vecchia Rory... i vecchi rapporti che potrebbero riprendere... e chissà, forse per come si sono messe le cose.. con Rory che non và almeno per ora a Yale, potremo vedere le scenette bellissime che vedevamo nelle prime 3 serie, quando le due erano parte attiva nella vita di Stars Hollow, quando intrecciavano tutti quei rapporti con i concittadini... poi voglio vedere proprio come reagisce la bambina alla nuova relazione importante della mamma...

E chissà cosa succederà con i Gilmore... per emily sarà una botta clamorosa vedere che ha fallito anche con Rory.. forse potrebbe prendersi le sue responsabilità, e chiedere scusa per tutto, per quello che ha tentato di fare con Lorelai e che stà tentando di fare con Rory... insomma, credo che se tutto và come la mia testa ha costruito, potremo vedere davvero qualcosa di bello e commovente considerando che l'ultima volta che abbiamo visto i Gilmore insieme, Richard ha detto una cosa, una verità bruttissima a Hemily... e non sò quanto lei non l'abbia recepita..

La partita di calcio è stata una cosa spettacolare.... ho riso come un pazzo... soprattuto poi quando luke si rivolge a Tilly... "eri cosi timida la prima volta che ho parlato con te.." haahahah

Bella... molto bella.. la sesta serie cresce di intensità, di bellezza... e di contenuti..
e non ne avevo dubbi.
Neanche uno.

Bella, bella anche questa ♥ Jess è la luce di GG , bellissimo come vedere che il ragazzino che prima non aveva uno scopo nella vita sia diventato uno 'scrittore' ha una sua vita , ha raggiunto un obbiettivo.
Bel gesto quello di regalare a rory il suo libro e dirle che è stato tutto grazie a lei, il modo in cui jess cambiato è strabiliante,loadoro ancora di più di prima!
Logan lo odio profondamente, a parte che credo sia una persona tristissima a scena di lui ubriaco all'inzio è stata veramente l'apice =___= e lei che lo scarrozza pure...mio Dio.
Quell'uscita a 3, fantastica ♥ Logan si sentiva nettamente inferiore a Jess ed si ècomportato da grande merda che è , Jess mitico è stato di una diplomazia grandiosa *___* ' biondo idiota a yale' awww ♥
Il modo poi in cui parla a Rory e le fa finalmente capire che diavolo sta combinando , ancor apiù stupendo il fatto che le diceva ' NON ME NE IMPORTA DI LUI!'
Quella litigata rory-logan , assolutamente da oscar ilmodo incui rory lo guarda incazzata ehehe...e poi Logan oh mio dio che si compatisce ...sto ragazzo è proprio stupido ...
Infine la scena lor/Paul anka e luke BELLISSIMA! Lei che mette a confronto il non essere stata capace a curarsi del cane come con rory ;___ ; ilmodo in cui si colpevolizza , e poi Lauren è stata fantastica

anche se devo spezzare una lancia a favore di logan
sapevo che tutte le literate si sarebbero fatte sentire e ne avrebbero sparate a raffica contro logan....ma questa non e'diplomazia!!!
1-logan era gelossissimo.....e gia'una volta si e'visto quanto diventa scemo quando e'geloso
2-e'molto confuso e triste...si trova ad affrontare una lotta interiore non indifferente.....e'frozato a fare qualcosa che odia e sa che dovra'farlo per tutta la sua vita..non ha scelte...ha solo una strada da seguire...o quella...o perde tutto quella che ha.....potrebbe prendere la decisione di mollare tutto ma ne ha paura...questa lotta interiore e'il motivo per cui si concia in quel modo
3-non potete dire che logan e'inferiore a jess....si sara'anche comportato da stupido in questa occasione ma logan ha una mente brillante ed e'molto in gamba.....e mi dispiace che per adesso in queste puntate della sesta serie non si sia ancora fatto vedere questo suo lato...cosa che invece nella quinta era di piu'in primo piano..ricordiamo che e'questo che ha fatto innamorare rory di logan...
stare con lui era stimolante!!

quindi capisco il fervore delle literate ma cercate di usare un po'di buon senso e piu'obbiettivita'!!!

eppure dico chiaramente che in questa punatata si e'comportato meglio jess di logan..ed e'stato un grande in quello che ha detto a rory...erano le parole giuste al momento giusto
mi dispiace che logan non abbia saputo riportarla a yale e che lo abbia fatto jess...ma e'normale che rory sia legata a jess..la loro storia era stata bella e importante

Adoro come alla fine dei giochi,Jess abbia smentito tutti suoi detrattori.Beati noi lungimiranti che abbiamo visto sin dall'inizio quanto il ragazzo valesse veramente,invece di bollarlo subito come un teppistello senza futuro


La scelta è difficile,ma basta tirar fuori un pò di palle e dire ai suoi "no".L'ha fatto Lorelai,può farlo anche lui.Il problema è che lui non vuole,mettersi contro paparino significherebbe doversela cavare da solo,dover rinunciare a lussi e privilegi,e Logan adora troppo il suo stile di vita per farlo.

RAGAZZE...ç__ç sono in pieni crisi depressiva....ieri è tornato il mio jess ed io ero al saggio di una mia amica...mia madre è impedita anche nel leggere i messaggi e...e...alla fine non ha registrato niente non so come fareeeeeeeeeeee ç__________ç questa puntata io l'ho amata e manco l'ho potuta vedere in lingua originale...ma anche le altre volevo vederle...quella del compleanno di rory...
